You can learn how to be happy with key biblical tips to apply in your life to be joyful always. You can be joyful always by faith in God. God wants every child of his to live stable lives -regardless of what is going on around you. No child of God is a victim.

How to be happy and joyful always with biblical tips to apply to your life:

Joy will keep you thankful even when things around you don’t make sense.

  • Joy is a fruit of the born again spirit; it is not natural.
  • Remember the “natural man” will be happy based on what he can see. The bible tells us that there are two realms of life— the spiritual realm and the physical realm.
  • Everything we see comes from the spiritual realm. This is such a fundamental point everyone must know and understand.
  • The just shall live by faith. If you are moved by what you can see, touch, feel, hear, smell – you will not be able to live by faith.

 

Why do you need faith to be happy and joyful always? 

Hebrews 11:6 — Without faith it is impossible to please God. If your life is governed by what you can see, feel, touch, hear, etc. you will be subject to the schemes and deception of the devil. This is an important factor you must know. – 1 John 5:4 – AMP – For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world-our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God].

If God tells us in his word to rejoice ALWAYS, it means we can!! God would never tell us to do anything we can’t. 2 Peter 1:3 NLT – By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. Rejoicing is an act of faith in God – ensures you live beyond your feelings. The choice to rejoice will frequently go against how you feel. Feelings are natural responses to what is happening or what you are going through.
  •  2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight
  •  Hebrews 11:3 – Contemporary English Version – 3 Because of our faith, we know that the world was made at God’s command. We also know that what can be seen was made out of what cannot be seen.
  • Nehemiah 8:10 – NKJV – 10 Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

1. Pay attention to what you are thinking about. Thoughts are powerful — thoughts are seeds — they have the ability to affect your life if you sow them and water them. A major incubator for thoughts is your heart – you must pay attention to the thoughts you allow enter your heart — Proverbs 4:23 – Guard your heart with all diligence for out of it flow the issues of life

2. Pay attention to what you are saying. Words are powerful – you receive from the spirit realm to the natural – by speaking them –
3. Pay attention to what you are doing. Actions make what you believe materialize –
James 2:26 Faith without works is dead.
4. Pay attention to your sphere of influence

Final Guidance on how to remain joyful:

You can remain joyful by faith and by studying and meditating on God’s word. Here are two important bible verses to help you remain joyful:

  • Philippians 4:12-13- (New International Version) – 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
  • Philippians 4:6-8 – (New King James Version) – 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things.
